Youth Haven
Youth Haven supports at-risk youth aged 16–24 offering emergency shelter, life skills training, and advocacy. For over 35 years, it has provided a safe, supportive space where vulnerable youth can access housing, counselling, and resources to build independence and stability. The Life Skills/Nutrition Program equips youth with practical skills for daily living and independence. Participants engage in workshops focused on financial literacy and household management. The program also fosters resilience by teaching youth how to maintain a clean-living space and prepare for employment or further education, while addressing food insecurity with nutrition education and access to healthy meals.
