Thrive Youth Development Canada

Thrive Youth is dedicated to providing leadership development through arts-based education to children and youth in underserved communities across Canada. Established in 1996, they currently deliver programming to 1,500 children and youth across the Greater Toronto Area, Vancouver, Halifax, Attawapiskat, and Webequie. Their program, Build to Change, supported by the Community Impact Grant, will engage vulnerable youth aged 13 – 15 to create an art project addressing a real-world problem. Youth will interweave arts-based skill-building with experiential learning led by community change makers. The program will offer a structured environment where participants can hone their confidence, capability, and connectedness to acquire critical leadership skills.
