Sunrise Community Link
Sunrise Community Link helps individuals and families in East Calgary who are experiencing poverty or an unexpected crisis or life event. The organization provides assistance with such basic needs as food, infant essentials and personal hygiene, as well as referrals to community services. Sunrise Community also offers a variety of critical skills development and self-help workshops and programs, among them Financial Coaching.

The Ecclesiastical Community Impact Grant supports the organization’s Financial Coaching Project. The project provides a supportive framework for Sunrise Community Link staff as they incorporate coaching strategies to help individuals and families move past poverty and toward financial security.
