With the Ecclesiastical Community Impact Grant, Safehaven has been utilizing a ground-breaking therapy called Snoezelen Multi-Sensory Environments since 2001. Snoezelen is an innovative multi-sensory therapy geared towards individuals with developmental disabilities. Snoezelen therapy allows our clients to build a mental and physical framework to perceive sensory input, control their responses, and understand what is happening around them. The result is calmer, happier and more social kids.
