Rainbow Refugee Association of Nova Scotia

Rainbow Refugee is a grassroots registered non-profit and charity dedicated to advocating for, supporting, and sponsoring LGBTQI+ refugees seeking resettlement in Nova Scotia. ​The Rainbow Community Food Hub is a 6-month project aimed at improving food security for LGBTQ refugees and newcomers to Nova Scotia. The program combines cooking classes, nutrition workshops, and community meals to create a supportive environment where participants can learn vital skills, make connections and celebrate their heritage. This program provides newcomers a safe space to gain confidence, strengthen bonds and engage in meaningful social activities.
