Phoenix Youth Centre
Phoenix Youth Centre is a community-based organization dedicated to helping at-risk and homeless youth, as well as their families. Phoenix provides services in multiple Halifax locations, among them youth outreach, youth and family therapy, health, housing and crisis services, as well as education and employment support. Special initiatives include the Phoenix Community Choir and a drop-in studio program offered in collaboration with the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.

Grant Description:
The Ecclesiastical Community Impact Grant supports the Phoenix Trustee Program designed to youth aged help 16 to 24 years old who are at high risk of homelessness due to financial mismanagement. The Trustee works closely with Phoenix’s Housing Support Worker to help these young people secure safe and affordable independent housing.
