Little Warriors
Little Warriors is a national organization committed to providing information, building awareness, and advocating for the prevention of child sexual abuse in Canada. Little Warriors also provides a treatment facility, the Be Brave Ranch––a place to heal for children who have been sexually abused. Staffed by clinical professionals, the Ranch employs a multi-modal therapeutic approach which includes animal-assisted therapy.

Grant Description:
The Ecclesiastical Community Impact Grant supports the Ranch’s Animal Therapy Program. Incorporating specially screened and trained animals into therapeutic sessions, animal assisted therapy has proven to be an effective intervention for trauma survivors, particularly those suffering from PTSD.
