Elephant Thoughts Education Outreach

Elephant Thoughts delivers life-changing educational experiences for youth facing barriers to sustainable employment. They serve over 30,000 underrepresented youth each year offering education and workforce development in culinary, technology, agricultural and sustainable building. Their program, Supporting Pathways to Sustainable Livelihoods for Vulnerable Youth, supported by the Community Impact Grant, will bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth (ages 15-24) and teach reconciliation and provide cultural sensitivity training. This 6-week program will offer workplace readiness training in the skilled trades, provide a connection to employer partners and hands-on training, and continued support from a Pathway Coach for 8 months after the program.
