Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Street Kids

Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids believe kids who have consistent access to nutritious food grow stronger brains and stronger bodies. They are committed to finding solutions to end childhood hunger by taking meaningful action to feed and care for kids. They supply lunches to more than 6,000 students a day in over 240 schools across Calgary. The School Lunch Program will help almost 800,000 kids through healthy meals that will set them up for success. The Community Impact Grant will support this barrier free program, which offers dignified access to food for those who do not arrive at school with proper lunches. Fresh and healthy meals will be prepared and delivered daily to schools across Calgary, to feed vulnerable students from kindergarten to grade 12.
