The Flower Cart Group

The Flower Cart Group provides vocational service to adults considered to have an intellectual disability. The overall purpose of the Flower Cart Group is to provide inclusive opportunities through employment training and volunteer opportunities that enrich the lives of participants while also adding value to community businesses. The Flower Cart Opportunities (FCO) program will be supported by our Community Impact Grant. It is a new program that provides additional activities and services for adults with varying abilities. Through this program, participants will be able to work for real wages for a couple of hours a day, and then be able to access programming centred around recreation and education. This wrap around service will provide meaning, training, and support for participants and also support the surrounding community.
