Giving Back to Our Communities

Each year, we invite our employees to nominate a Canadian charity that holds personal significance to them for a meaningful grant to support the charity’s work. In 2023, we were proud to award 30 Give for Good grants to organizations nationwide that deliver critical services to those in need.

“As a parent, I know that childhood is such a precious time and the last thing any child should have to worry about is where their next meal is coming from. Being able to provide Backpack Buddies this grant was such a privilege, especially knowing it will be put to good use right away to ensure that as many children as possible have access to healthy food.”

“What makes the service special is that they have a place for everyone. Their foodbank, thrift store, and counselling services help real people in need and shape the community for the better.”

“Being a pet owner myself, it brings me great joy to know our donation will be used to provide affordable veterinary services to individuals and families who are struggling financially to care for sick or ailing pets.”

“Kids Help Phone is a stand-out charity that I have supported for a long time, and it means so much to me to be able to nominate it for this grant in recognition of all the good that it does. KHP has really changed with the times since its start 35 years ago, and continues to provide the youth of today with access to safe, free, and 24/7 support."
