Toronto, ON – October 21, 2025: Ecclesiastical Insurance is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Give for Good grants. Through this annual program, employees nominate Canadian charities that hold personal significance to them to receive a $5,000 grant. This year, 50 organizations across the country were awarded funding to support their essential work in local communities.
The Give for Good program is administered under the auspices of our charitable owner, Benefact Trust, which is committed to giving back to communities in meaningful and lasting ways.

Voices from Our People

“I grew up watching people from all walks of life come together at the Tzu Chi Foundation to give back through meal programs, education, and disaster relief support. One of my favourite memories as a child is collecting milk bags with my family, knowing they’d be turned into durable blankets for those in need. I’m proud that Ecclesiastical can support this compassionate organization.”
– Sabina Chang, Director of Process & Data Operations

“We were delighted to have the opportunity to present a Give for Good grant to Margaret’s House. Getting to meet the incredible people behind the organization and hear how they prepare 100+ meals for community members each day was inspiring. They were elated to receive this donation which will help them purchase new kitchen equipment and reach even more people.”
– Lisa Symonds, Senior Operations Associate & Debbie LaVoie, Underwriter

“I was so pleased to present Making Changes Employment with this grant to support their Dress for Success program that offers low-income women—many escaping domestic violence—free interview training and professional clothing to help them find employment. Bringing my mother, a longtime volunteer, made the experience even more meaningful. The organization was extremely grateful, and I’m confident the funds will go to good use.”
– Zachary Wollmann, Underwriter

“Easter Seals BC/Yukon is a remarkable organization that provides vital programs and services to support people with diverse abilities in building independence, confidence, and meaningful connections. I was delighted that my nomination of Easter Seals BC/Yukon was selected as part of the Give for Good program. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that our support will contribute to their ongoing efforts to foster inclusion and empower the communities they serve.”
