January 20, 2026: Toronto, ON —Ecclesiastical Insurance is proud to be named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People for the 11th time, recognizing the organization’s sustained commitment to early-career development, meaningful work and long-term professional growth.
This national recognition reflects Ecclesiastical’s focus on creating opportunities for new graduates to build skills, gain real-world experience and contribute to work that aligns with the organization’s charitable purpose.
“Investing in young people is essential to the future of our industry and our organization,” says David Huebel, President, Ecclesiastical Insurance. “We are committed to providing early-career professionals with the experiences and support they need to build meaningful careers.”
Developing Early-Career Talent with Intention
A key driver of this recognition is Ecclesiastical’s Business Associate Program, a structured, three-year rotational program designed to help new graduates explore multiple areas of the business while building a strong foundation in specialty insurance.
Associates rotate through core functions, gain exposure to different disciplines and work toward professional certifications, including the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. The program is designed to develop versatile skill sets while helping associates identify where they can make the greatest impact over the long-term.
Upon completion, associates transition into professional career streams aligned with both organizational needs and individual strengths, supporting long-term retention and growth.
Purpose-Driven Work from the Start
As part of the Benefact Group, Ecclesiastical operates with a clear charitable purpose, donating all available profits to charities and good causes. Early-career employees experience this purpose directly through involvement in community impact initiatives, including a dedicated charity placement within the Business Associate Program.
From 2017 to 2025, Ecclesiastical distributed more than 700 charitable grants, totalling $7 million+, to registered charities supporting communities across Canada. This approach ensures that even early in their careers, employees can see how their work contributes to meaningful social impact.
Investing in the Next Generation
Ecclesiastical’s recognition as a Top Employer for Young People reflects a comprehensive approach to supporting early-career professionals, including:
- Tuition assistance for employees pursuing further education
- Cash awards for professional accreditations and development
- A structured orientation and onboarding experience
- Ongoing leadership development opportunities
Together, these initiatives help young professionals build meaningful careers while empowering tomorrow’s specialists to protect what matters most.
