Toronto, ON—We are extremely pleased to announce that 26 Canadian charities have received an Ecclesiastical Insurance 2024 Community Impact Grant. As one recipient remarked, ‘it has been a great way to begin the new year!’
Ecclesiastical Community Impact Grants are awarded to registered charitable organizations across the country to help fund programs that can achieve positive and sustainable impacts in their communities. This year, special emphasis was given to charities dedicated to environmental conservation, food security, and supporting vulnerable youth, families, and seniors.
“Community Impact Grants are an integral part of Ecclesiastical’s ‘giving back’ initiatives that include grant programs, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, and employee volunteer initiatives,” said David Huebel, President of Ecclesiastical Canada. “As a proud member of the Benefact Group, our foundational purpose is to contribute to the greater good by giving all available profits to organizations that help people in need under the auspices of our charitable owner, the Benefact Trust. Giving back is central to our values and our culture. It is, as we often say, part of our DNA!”
